So, you say to yourself. Think I’ll take a walk and check out the beach. Good idea, wear a warm coat and take the dog – because at this time of the year, you might get lucky and have it all to yourself.
Why we live here – Natural Reflections
“Victoria is a dynamic combination of urban and rural, the best of both worlds in many ways. On the Galloping Goose Trail, I can cycle to farms in Saanich or the downtown core in 30 minutes. The Goose and other trails offer safe hiking and biking throughout the city. On some sections you’d swear you were deep in the wilderness.”
Old School Marketing
We have been working on our new News Letter – which is not really a news letter, but rather a brief synopsis of our family real estate history. It will highlight the drawings that are so much of my real estate past and the announcement that we plan to start featuring drawings again as part of our marketing.
In the past I have presented Buyers with gift card boxes – so they can sent them to friends announcing their new home – the old school way: MAIL
A bright New Day
Apart from trying to keep anyone who visits up to date on the Victoria Real Estate Market – I am also going to be concentrating on the lovely life style we as Victorians can enjoy throughout the year. Every Friday I am going to try and post a series of photos of what I think Victorians might be doing on the week end. My hope is that I might be able with a few photos give you a sense of how we spend our time on this beautiful island.
But first – it seems we are in demand. Yesterday a BMO Retirement Institute’s special report on where Canadians plan to retire quoted that ” 85 per cent of Canadians over the age of 45 intend to stay in Canada in their retirement years — and 15 per cent of all baby boomers intend to retire in Victoria.”
I guess that’s good for the real estate market – but could mean it will get crowded!
In the mean time….here is what this morning looked like.

This is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon!
