We have been working on our new News Letter – which is not really a news letter, but rather a brief synopsis of our family real estate history. It will highlight the drawings that are so much of my real estate past and the announcement that we plan to start featuring drawings again as part of our marketing.

In the past I have presented Buyers with gift card boxes – so they can sent them to friends announcing their new home – the old school way: MAIL

A bright New Day

Apart from trying to keep anyone who visits up to date on the Victoria Real Estate Market – I am also going to be concentrating on the lovely life style we as Victorians can enjoy throughout the year. Every Friday I am going to try and post a series of photos of what I think Victorians might be doing on the week end. My hope is that I might be able with a few photos give you a sense of how we spend our time on this beautiful island.

But first – it seems we are in demand. Yesterday  a BMO Retirement Institute’s special report on where Canadians plan to retire quoted  that ” 85 per cent of Canadians over the age of 45 intend to stay in Canada in their retirement years — and 15 per cent of all baby boomers intend to retire in Victoria.”

I guess that’s good for the real estate market – but could mean it will get crowded!

In the mean time….here is what this morning looked like.

Does it get any better than this?

Chatham Island

This is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon!

The Begining

This will be the first opportunity to start sharing some of my ideas and post on the Victoria life sytle we have come to love and enjoy! Think of this as a little bit of West Coast Reality – a place where so many would love to live and we are so lucky to live the dream.

For instance, the following photo was taken from the deck of one of our listings on Chalet Road on a beautiful fall day a week ago….can’t think of a place I would have rather been – how about you?

Can you see yourself in one of these chairs?
